Picking Up Speed!

Hey everyone! Here is another update on how things have been going. I went back to talk to the recruiter after all of my medical information arrived. It came on Tuesday instead of Wednesday, which was a real blessing! Thankfully everything I needed was in it. The recruiter took everything we had, and met with us the following day at 15:00. We sat down and discussed everything, and I signed a bunch of release information papers.

The next step for us in all of this will be a medical examination by the Air Force. They need to make sure that I am physically fit for the jobs that I will be applying for. All of the release forms were sent in, and I should hear back from the recruiter some time during the middle of next week. There were no specifics given, but I am hoping that it will be sooner than later.

I figured people might want to know some of the progress that I have been making with the physical side of things. While it may not be that impressive, I am definitely making an improvement. I am thankful to the Lord for helping me out with this challenge.

Here is the list of my running activities. Next post I will put up some of my other statistics:
  • Jan 21, 2013 - 12 Minutes : 23 Seconds
  • Jan 22, 2013 - 12 Minutes : 15 Seconds
  • Jan 24, 2013 - 11 Minutes : 46.3 Seconds
  • Jan 25, 2013 - 11 Minutes : 35.3 Seconds

So, like I said, it's nothing to freak out about, but I am really please with my progress. My goal is to get a comfortable 10 minute, steady run. I know that it will work out.

Anywho, this has been my life as of late. I have just been working hard to improve everything. Feel free to post any questions or comments

Always,
-The Dewster-
